Senior Assistant Professor - Politecnico di Torino

​Education: MS in Applied Mathematics at Politecnico di Torino (2014) and PhD in Pure and Applied Mathematics from Università di Torino and Politecnico di Torino (joint program, 2018), both cum laude.

 

Experience: From 2018 to 2022, I held research fellowships at New York University (US), Politecnico di Torino (Italy), and University of Groningen (Netherlands). In 2022, I joined the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications, Politecnico di Torino as an Assistant Professor. Since 2025 I am a Research Associate with the CNR. Extended visiting periods at Lund University, Curtin University, University of Adelaide, Hiroshima University, and New York University.

 

Research: My research interests include modeling, analysis, and control of dynamical processes on networks (e.g., epidemics, opinion dynamics, innovation diffusion), applied probability, and game theory; 100+ scientific publications, including 60+ papers in scientific journals; 70+ presentations and seminars at national and international conferences, universities, and research centers. Service: Associate Editor for Automatica, IEEE Control Systems Letters, International Journal of Control, and Scientific Reports. Member of the Conference Editorial Board for EUCA, and of the Program Committee of the International Conference on Complex Networks and their Applications. Organizer of 9 invited sessions and 3 workshops; Chair of 10+ sessions.

 

Teaching: Lecturer and TA for more than 10 Bachelor and Master courses. Co-supervisor of 4 PhD students, 10 master students, and several bachelor students. More details here​.

 

Awards: Senior Member of the IEEE and CSS; Recipient of the 2024 IEEE CSS Italy Best Young Author Journal Paper Award and Best Paper Award at CoDIT 2025
